Strengthen your core muscles (abdominals, buttocks, back, hips and chest) in this non-aerobic floor workout. In this class we will use the big fitness ball, dynabands, weights, noodles and the small play ball as we perform resistance exercises to firm and tone the core. Each class will end with total body stretching. Bring water, a dynaband, a floor mat, small play ball and a noodle.

A fun music and movement class for children and their siblings 18 mos. to 4 yrs. to enjoy with parent and/or caregiver.  This class includes singing, musical instruments, marching and parachute fun with a variety of weekly experiences.  Children participate at their own developmental level.  The classes will include story time, a craft and concludes with a snack.

6:00 PM - 7:30 PM    Citizen Preparedness Corps - Citizen Preparedness Corps
The Citizen Preparedness Corps is a program led by the NYS Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services.  It teaches the basic principles of emergency preparedness, response and recovery in the event of a disaster.  This course will also assist families in developing a Family Emergency Plan, building a "Go-Bag" and give information on Active Shooter scenarios.  This is a free training event instructed by members of the NY Army National Guard.

When children reach an age and maturity level that parents feel comfortable leaving them at home alone, there are some basic guidelines that will teach them responsibility and keep them safe.  This course is geared to provide 10-12 year olds with the knowledge and skills needed to assume personal responsibility and stay safe while home alone. Participants will learn about following family ground rules such as how to handle phone calls and what to do if a stranger knocks at the door, as well as preparedness tips, recognizing emergency situations and how to handle them.

R&B Soul Line Dancing is choreographed dancing to Motown, R&B or contemporary pop music. We have "no rules" in our dancing!We teach easy to learn routines but we encourage individuality and creating your own interpretation.It is "Exercise in Disguise" and a great stress reducer. It can be done by men and women of all ages and no partner needed. You don't necessarily need any dance experience, but it is helpful to be able to follow some basic dance steps without detailed instruction. You may be familiar with dances such as the Electric Slide, Cupid Shuffle or the Wobble. A fun filled dance class exploring popular dances from 1900's-2018.  Learn the history of dance through the years and end each class with a dance routine from each different era.
 
6:00 PM - 6:45 PM    Dream League Hoops - Dream League Hoops Winter
Your young player will learn basic principles of the game such as court spacing, defending and teamwork. Each week your child will learn new skills and game play will be incorporated within the first few weeks. Pre-registration required.
 
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM    Yoga Flow - Yoga Flow Winter
Balance and strength result from attention to breath as we move through our yoga practice. The basic posture introduced in Beginning Yoga will serve as the foundation for each class sequence. Some yoga experience is helpful, although not required. Open to everyone with the ability to move through seated, standing, kneeling and reclined positions unassisted. Please bring a yoga mat.

Would you like your child to meet new friends in a safe environment while developing motor skills, coordination and strength?  Welcome to our Tumbling Tykes class.  This tumbling and movement class is designed to allow children to explore movement, jumping and tumbling without their parents.  Class will be held in our gym.  Mats and various gym equipment will be incorporated into each class.   Pre-registration required.

Babysitting is not just "watching" the children, but it is being responsible for their safety and well being.  The American Safety & Health Institute "Child & Babysitting Safety" course is geared to provide 11-15 year olds with the knowledge and skills needed to be an effective babysitter. Topics covered include: decision making and leadership principles, basic care techniques, discipline, safety and safe play.Participants will also learn and practice basic first aid skills including how to help someone who is choking, how to perform CPR and how to help someone with a sudden illness or injury.
