Instructors: The Doctors of Physical Therapy of Capital Area Physical Therapy and Wellness
The Doctors of Physical Therapy of the Capital Area Physical Therapy and Wellness have concluded the highest levels of education within their field, having received their Doctorate degrees from their respective institutions. Several of their therapists have received advanced board specializations through the American Physical Therapy Association. Capital Area Physical Therapy and Wellness have five clinics between Queensbury and Delmar. They aim to serve their local communities and provide personalized, quality care to their patients. They are proud to serve the Malta and Ballston Spa areas having opened their flagship office in Malta in 2013.
Knee Injuries and Prevention

This course will look at the anatomy of the knee, common dysfunctions including osteoarthritis and knee injuries, what to expect from rehab after a Total Knee Replacement, as well as how a physical therapist would assess a knee problem. Discussion will also include some strategies to prevent or minimize knee injuries and/or pain.
Neck Pain and Headaches

This course will discuss relevant anatomy and function of the neck bones, joints and muscles, and discuss common problems related to neck injuries or pain. Discussion will include strategies at helping to manage or prevent neck pain/headaches and improving posture.
The Ankle
Dr. William Lineback is a Physical Therapist at Capital Area PT & Wellness, who has conducted extensive research on ankle and foot health. Will has an extensive background in powerlifting, Olympic lifting, and holds a nationally recognized certification called "Fitness Pain Free" that incorporates high level lifting rehabilitation. Content that will be covered in the presentation will include: overview of anatomy and mechanics of the ankle/foot, functional movements and balance involving the ankle/foot, screening and prevalence of ankle sprains, and preventative exercises for chronic ankle instability."
